Why we exist

Public information is often technically available but practically inaccessible. It may be scattered across agendas, filings, contracts, meeting video, and records responses. Knead The Info gathers that material, shows its sources, separates confirmed facts from unanswered questions, corrects errors openly, and gives residents a usable account of what their government is doing.

The bread metaphor is simple: raw information becomes useful only when it is gathered, worked, tested, and shared. We do not publish half-baked conclusions.

Knead The Info is not affiliated with the City of McKinney or any government entity. Our first city desk serves McKinney, Texas, while the network foundation is built to support careful expansion later.
